Mr. Karr has been in the Real Estate and Construction business for more than 30 years. He is a certified Property Manager with more than 30 years of experience managing, residential, and commercial and retail properties. He has a proven track record of creating successful environments. His vast and diverse experience in management, healthcare, sales, marketing, real estate and construction provide him with the insight and knowledge to guide performance enhanced solutions. Mr. Karr is the Managing Partner of Karr Commercial, a multi-faceted commercial real estate firm involved in the renovation and historic preservation of many Nashville landmarks and residences. Mr. Karr has a strong passion for organization, management and the skills it takes to lead. In addition to his role as managing Partner, Mr. Karr was the co-founder and President and Chief Operating Officer of a medical technology company founded to provide electronic medical records for the Healthcare industry. The company was sold to an Atlanta based firm where he remains active as a consultant to the software industry. Mr. Karr has remained active in the community – both in real estate and charitable organizations. He is currently a member of the Commercial Division of the Board of Realtors, member of the Tennessee Association of Realtors, the Institute of Real Estate Management, and past Chairman of the Metropolitan Board of Zoning Appeals. He has also served as a member of the committee for the restoration of the Tennessee State Capital, the Nashville City Center Land Use Sub-Committee, a former member of the Metro Historical Commission, and and currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors, a Board of Director for the Gordon Jewish Community Center, a Board of Trustees member of the Temple Ohabai Shalom and past president and current Board member of the Tennessee Jazz and Blues Society. Mr. Karr has two sons. One attended the University of Southern California, and the other attended Northwestern University in Chicago.
